Ken Crawford, Camp Director
Running competitively for more than 25 years Ken has collected a lot of data on training and and is a serious fan of athletics and cross country. He's run or raced in 34 states and on 5 continents and even squeaked out a few wins in his prime. Ken races a variety of distances and always loved the team aspect of cross country in high school, college, and on club teams. Ken graduated from Clarkson University ('06) with degrees in chemical engineering and chemistry and when he's not at Blue Mountain you might see him running around Delaware Park in Buffalo, NY where he lives with his lovely wife. In his free time he is a senior process engineer and likes to make spreadsheets. |
Sarah Schnitter, Camp Director
Sarah is a graduate of Rush-Henrietta High School ('07) and Nazareth College ('11,'13) with a Masters in Literacy. Sarah has always enjoyed running more for the socialization than the competitive races. Some of her most memorable running moments are with her Dad, her first training partner, because he'll always listen to whatever she has to say. Today, you'll find her teaching first grade and counting down the days until camp. After school Sarah is an assistant cross country and track coach for the school where she teaches. Another reason Sarah loves Blue Mountain is because she met her husband, fellow counselor John Schnitter, at camp in 2009. Sarah currently resides in Geneseo, NY. |
